关于本署
The 澳门赌场官方软件 Police Department is located on Western Ave. between the Commuter Lot and the main entrance to the university. The Police Dispatch Center is open 24/7 year-round and can be reached at 413-572-5262
The Department works to ensure a peaceful quality of life, establish a partnership with the community and support a safe learning environment through fair and impartial policing practices.
The Department is comprised of a Chief, 队长, 3的副手, 12名警务人员, 1名全职保安主任, 3名兼职保安员, 3调度程序, 15 学生安全助理 and 1 Office Manager.
大学警察 Officers are empowered by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts General Laws and are certified under the Police Officer Standards and training Commission (POST). 所有官员都执行州法律, 包括机动车辆法规, as well as university rules and regulations and have full powers of arrest.

As part of our Community Policing efforts, 大学警察 Officers are available to instruct a variety of 预防罪案及安全 programs for the WSU community such as, CPR /急救, 强奸 Aggression Defense (RAD) and Run-Hide-Fight. Officers also attend various events in the residential halls as part of our Adopt-A-Hall program.

Student Threat Assessment Team (STAT)
This team is responsible for receiving and reviewing reports of potentially threatening, violent or alarming behaviors by any student of the University. To meet with the team or to report a concern, please contact the Dean of Students Office at 413-572-5425/5421.
